Small Earthquake Rattles Northern Utah

OFFICIALS SAY A SMALL EARTHQUAKE -- CENTERED NEAR TOOELE -- WAS WIDELY FELT, LATE SATURDAY NIGHT, BUT CAUSED NO SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE.

THE UNIVERSITY OF UTAH SAYS THE MAGNITUDE 3.2 QUAKE HIT ABOUT 15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF SALT LAKE.

TOOELE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DISPATCHERS SAY, THEY FELT THE SHAKING -- AT THEIR DISPATCH CENTER -- AND RECEIVED SEVERAL CALLS FROM PEOPLE WHO ALSO FELT IT.
