Santaquin Boy, 9, Continues to Recover After Being Hit by a Truck

A 9-YEAR-OLD SANTAQUIN BOY IS CONTINUING TO RECOVER -- AT PRIMARY CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL -- AFTER RIDING HIS BIKE INTO A PICKUP TRUCK, WHILE NOT WEARING A HELMET.

POLICE SAY THE BOY RAN A STOP SIGN, AS HE TURNED INTO THE VEHICLE.

THE DRIVER HAD NO WARNING... AND WILL NOT BE CITED.

THE BOY SUFFERED CUTS AND BRUISES... BUT NO BROKEN BONES.

BECAUSE OF HIS YOUNG AGE, HE WAS BEING HELD IN THE HOSPITAL'S INTENSIVE CARE UNIT, FOR OBSERVATION.
