Old Man Winter is Not Yet Getting the Job Done

DESPITE ALL THAT SNOWSHOVELING WE'VE DONE IN RECENT WEEKS, UTAH WATER WATCHERS SAY WE ARE WELL INTO OUR THIRD CONSECUTIVE WINTER, WITH BELOW AVERAGE MOISTURE.

MANY RESERVOIRS ARE STILL HOLDING JUST 20-TO-30 PERCENT OF THE WATER THEY NEED -- AND, OFFICIALS SAY, IT'S UNLIKELY WE'LL GET ENOUGH WET STORMS, IN THE COMING MONTHS, TO RECHARGE THEM.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE REPORTS, OUR AGRICULTURE INDUSTRY WILL BE THE HARDEST HIT.

SNOW SHORTAGES HAVE ALSO HAD A NEGATIVE IMPACT ON NORTHERN UTAH SKI RESORTS, AGAIN THIS WINTER.
