North Logan "Pet" Buck Deer Shot; Hunter Charged

STATE WILDLIFE OFFICERS HAVE CHARGED A CACHE COUNTY MAN FOR KILLING A WELL-KNOWN TROPHY DEER, WITHIN NORTH LOGAN CITY LIMITS.

CONSERVATION OFFICERS SEIZED THE 29-INCH-WIDE ANTLERS FROM THE SUSPECT, WHO NOW FACES TWO MISDEMEANOR CHARGES.

THE ANIMAL -- KNOWN TO LOCALS, AS THE "GREENVILLE BUCK" -- WAS OFTEN SEEN WANDERING THE CITY AND SLEEPING IN BACKYARDS.

INVESTIGATORS BELIEVE THE HUNTER SHOT THE DEER -- WITH A BOW AND ARROW, LAST MONTH -- WHILE TRESPASSING...AND WITHIN CITY LIMITS.
