Month-Long Provo Murder Trial Now in the Hands of the Jury

One of the most high-profile criminal cases ever, in Utah, finally went to a Provo jury Friday afternoon, after four weeks of evidence and testimony.

Dr. Martin MacNeill, 57, is accused of overdosing his wife -- with prescription pain killers -- and then drowning her, in the bathtub at their Pleasant Grove home.

Defense attorneys claim Michele MacNeill died -- in April 2007 -- due to a heart condition.

The trial has featured testimony from prison inmates who knew MacNeill... mistresses...and children, who are firmly convinced their father killed their mother.
