Former Utah Mayor Sentenced to House Arrest for Drunk Driving

The former mayor of Helper, Dean Armstrong, 51, has been sentenced to house arrest, after pleading guilty to drunk driving.

After accepting the plea deal last week, a judge sentenced him to 15 days of home confinement, one year of probation and $3000 in fines.

He resigned in February, following his third DUI arrest -- and second, while serving as mayor.
