Driver, 93, Dies in South Ogden Car Crash

SOUTH OGDEN POLICE SAY, A DRIVER MAY HAVE RUN A RED LIGHT... JUST BEFORE A TWO-CAR CRASH, KILLED AN ELDERLY MAN... AND INJURED THREE OTHER PEOPLE.

AUTHORITIES SAY THE CRASH HAPPENED AT THE BUSY INTERSECTION OF HARRISON BOULEVARD AND HIGHWAY 89.

POLICE SAY A TOYOTA WAS TURNING EAST -- ONTO THE HIGHWAY -- WHEN A SATURN CRASHED INTO IT.

THE SATURN'S DRIVER -- A 93-YEAR-OLD MAN -- DIED AT THE SCENE. HIS 92-YEAR-OLD, FEMALE PASSENGER, WAS CRITICALLY INJURED.

IN THE SECOND VEHICLE, SOUTH OGDEN POLICE SAY A 54-YEAR-OLD MAN -- AND 53-YEAR-OLD WOMAN -- WERE HOSPITALIZED, WITH APPARENTLY NON- LIFE-THREATENING INJURIES.
