Dixie State University Banning Tobacco on Campus

DIXIE STATE UNIVERSITY -- IN ST. GEORGE -- WILL SOON HAVE A TOBACCO-FREE CAMPUS.

THE UNIVERSITY'S BOARD OF TRUSTEES HAS UNANIMOUSLY VOTED TO BAN ALL TOBACCO PRODUCTS ON CAMPUS, BEGINNING IN JANUARY.

THE BAN COVERS ALL INDOOR AND OUTDOOR AREAS...AND ALL USES OF TOBACCO, INCLUDING SUCH PRODUCTS AS E-CIGARETTES.

THE SCHOOL WILL LAUNCH A MARKETING CAMPAIGN, NEXT MONTH, TO EDUCATE STUDENTS ABOUT THE NEW POLICY.
