"Count My Vote" Initiative Has Raised More Than $810,000

A BALLOT INITIATIVE DRIVE -- SEEKING TO CHANGE THE WAY UTAH ELECTS CANDIDATES FOR POLITICAL OFFICE -- RAISED MORE MONEY LAST YEAR, THAN ANY OTHER POLITICAL GROUP OR CANDIDATE IN THE STATE.

YEAR-END DISCLOSURE FORMS SHOW, THE GROUP 'COUNT MY VOTE' RAISED MORE THAN 810-THOUSAND DOLLARS.

THAT TOTAL COMPARES TO JUST 92-HUNDRED DOLLARS, RAISED BY THE GROUP OPPOSING THE INITIATIVE.

'COUNT MY VOTE' IS NOW WORKING TO GATHER MORE THAN 100,000 PETITION SIGNATURES -- BY MID-APRIL -- TO GET THE ISSUE ON THE NOVEMBER BALLOT.
