Accused Cop Killer Accomplice Ordered to Stand Trial

A UTAH COUNTY JUDGE, THURSDAY MORNING, ORDERED MEAGAN GRUNWALD, 17, TO STAND TRIAL, FOR HER ROLE -- IN THE JANUARY CRIME SPREE -- THAT LEFT A COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPUTY DEAD... AND ANOTHER WOUNDED.

PROSECUTORS SAY THE TEEN'S 27-YEAR-OLD BOYFRIEND DID ALL THE SHOOTING, BEFORE POLICE SHOT HIM TO DEATH.

BUT THEY ALSO CLAIM, SHE WAS A WILLING PARTICIPANT IN THE CRIMES.

UTAH COUNTY SHERIFF'S SARGEANT CORY WRIDE WAS SHOT TO DEATH IN THE MELEE... WHILE A SECOND DEPUTY WAS ALSO INJURED.

DURING THE DAY-AND-A-HALF PRELIMINARY HEARING, PROSECUTORS SHOWED THE JUDGE A VIDEO OF WRIDE'S DEATH, TAKEN FROM HIS POLICE DASHBOARD CAMERA.

DEFENSE ATTORNEYS CLAIM, THERE'S NO EVIDENCE GRUNWALD WAS A WILLING PARTICIPANT IN THE CRIMES.
