9/11 Twelfth Anniversary Marked With Observances Throughout Utah

The day we'd all like to forget, was 12 years ago.

Three Utahns were among the nearly 3000 killed during terrorist attacks in New York, Washington DC and rural Pennsylvania on September 11, 2001.

Utah Governor Gary Herbert asked that all flags be flown at half-staff on this Patriots Day.

In Kaysville, a statue was unveiled, depicting a fireman holding a young child.

Several other 9/11 observances were held elsewhere across the state and nation.
