Layoffs at XanGo world headquarters have begun today in Lehi.
Company officials say the cuts will better position XanGo for today's economic conditions, allowing them to focus resources on critical projects.
About 30 percent of XanGo employees are being laid off, in Utah County.
The company will make additional job cuts at distribution centers and warehouses, worldwide.
XanGo Communications Vice President Dave Webb says all of the employees are leaving in good standing, and could be rehired if future business conditions allow.
